    Many digital 8mm looks still come through a bit too clean or sharp. So we built a look that captures the texture, blur, and character of real film, with none of the digital fakeness.

    Unlike LUTs which apply a fixed look, our vintage 8mm Power-Grade gives you full control over every aspect of your footage. This flexibility ensures you can achieve a true, nuanced 8mm look that adapts to your creative vision.The grade works by digitally emulating real 8mm film.

    Footage is first corrected for color and exposure and then passes through nodes that recreate the soft blur, vintage stock colors, grain, and bloom of classic 8mm film. By controlling each stage independently, you get a hands-on, precise approach to crafting an authentic warm and nostalgic film aesthetic that static LUTs cannot offer.
